Bernie’s is a café, bakery, and market created to celebrate cuisine and ingredients of the Midwest. It is a place to gather with friends for lunch, bring your kids for an after school cookie, stop in for a take-and-bake hotdish on the way home from work, have a drink at our historic horseshoe bar, or browse the specialty ingredients and cooking tools that line our shelves. In the summer we’ve got picnic goodies for the lake and a flower lined patio, and in the winter we’ve got lots of knoephla soup.

In partnership with Minnesota Public Radio, we are so excited to be hosting e(L)ement, a duo featuring flutist Karen Baumgartner and harpist Mallory McHenry! The performance is FREE and open to the public.
e(L)ement concerts include a wide variety of repertoire, including contemporary composers and original commissioned pieces written for Baumgartner and McHenry.
